What are your favorite apps to use, and why? (Optional: Provide screenshots of your smartphone screen to display the types and locations of your apps.)

I have several apps that I declare as my favorites. These being Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, and UNO. Twitter. I like Twitter because of it being uncensored media. This goes to show that the creator of twitter had one thing in mind and it was to connect the people. I can get news from all over the world in seconds from Twitter, but it would be a little harder to if you say looked up the same information on Facebook and wouldn’t be the same information. Twitter is one of my main forms of news information; you can tell if it is fake or not and people call out eachothers actions. I enjoy snapchat because of the ability to send a picture in a form of a response. I love seeing the persons face that I am talking to. It makes me feel a little safer and build a better connection because they are seeing what you look like. The ability to post a picture or video on your story for 24 hours is amazing to me. It is like the picture disappears and you can start over every day, once you see it you probably won’t see it again. This is cool to check in on what everyone is doing for the day and what cool things they got into. Another reason it is cool is because you can discover things from these Snapchat stories that you might want to try yourself. One other reason Snapchat is one of my favoirte apps is because you can make private stories to only allow select people to see what you post. This is another safety precaution and a cool thing to have if you’re worried about something you post being seen by certain people. This is a cool element on an app like Snapchat. Another one of my favorite apps is Instagram. This is where people would show their good pictures and show off a little. People post higher quality pictures on this app to live up to a high persona of the app. You have to look good on Instagram and it is weird. I wouldn’t say it is my favorite app, but I use it a lot so it has to be. I like that I can comment on everyones posts and see how well dressed they are that day. On my instagram, I am constantly posting posts to my story about women’s rights, the Black Lives Matter movement, motivation, and posts that are educational and helpful. I have had many people say what I post helps them and that they love and agree with it! I will always stand up for what I feel is right and for the lives of our friends of color. I love knowing I can help at least one person a day. Lastly, my favorite app that is not social media is UNO. I personally just love the game and play it a lot when my roommates do not want to play at our house. You can play with other people but you have a 3 minute maximum on every round you play. This is good because you can play with different people and have many different chances to lose or win. I personally just love UNO and love playing it. I usually play it before bed to get sleepy and it somehow works! These are my top 4 favorite apps I have on my phone. As you can see, they are all accessible on the same screen on my iPhone. This is just convenient for me to easily flip through them. According to my screen time report, Snapchat is my most used app with Instagram closing in on the 4th most used app.
